Editorial Policies

Focus and Scope

       Turkish Journal of Electromechanics and Energy is devoted to address recent progress in the fields that are at the intersection of mechanical and electrical-electronics engineering and related areas of engineering physics. Particular emphasis in this new journal is given to original and applied researches, that attracts attention from different fields and their outcomes can be transferred by the researchers in both academia and industry.

       The above list is not exhaustive yet the papers addressing any of followings are also welcome.

  • Electrical, mechanical systems and their applications,
  • Power electronics and drive control techniques,
  • Motor drives, motion control, robotics, sensors and actuators and their applications,
  • MEMS and its applications, automation technologies,
  • Energy generation, conversion, transportation, storage systems; renewable energy applications; energy planning & management, sustainable energy policies,
  • Pipeline engineering,
  • Transportation engineering,
  • Industrial and manufacturing systems, and processes,
  • Automotive, railway, aerospace, superconductive, energetic materials,
  • Materials science studies with energy, and electronics emphasis,
  • Advanced manufacturing technologies, micromanufacturing, 
  • Modeling, simulation, optimization of all engineering aspects along with experimental verification,
  • Instrumentation, measurement  and testing,
  • Electromagnetic theory, applications and safety measurements, 

       It is highly unlikely that papers dealing solely with theory or modelling will be acceptable. Multi-part papers and case studies are not accepted. State-of-the art review papers will be accepted on the conditions that those are deeply focused of journal’s core interests and upon either editorial board decision and/or invitation.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
